IPM is a marketplace and discovery platform. Some information you submit is intended to be shared with other users or displayed publicly.

Public marketplace information may include material type, specifications, approximate or stated location, quantity, availability, pricing information when supplied, photographs, listing descriptions, and other information designated for marketplace display.

Depending on IPM's current privacy and contact controls, certain identifying or contact information may be restricted to authorized users or provided through controlled contact workflows rather than displayed publicly.

Public listing pages may be accessible without an account and may be indexed, cached, copied, or stored by search engines and other third parties.

You should not include confidential, sensitive, or proprietary information in fields intended for public display.

5. Payments

IPM uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process payments and administer subscriptions.

Payment information submitted through Stripe is processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy practices.

IPM may receive payment-related information from Stripe such as:

  • Stripe customer identifiers;

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

Marketplace participants.

Information may be shared or displayed as necessary to provide listings, search, inquiries, and communications between users.

Service providers.

We may provide information to companies that help us operate IPM, such as hosting, infrastructure, authentication, email, payment processing, analytics, security, and technical-service providers.

These providers receive information as necessary to perform services for us.

Legal and safety purposes.

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, legal process, court orders, governmental requests, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, or enforce our agreements.

Business transactions.

If Pyramid Pallets LLC or IPM is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed as part of evaluating or completing that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

With your direction or consent.

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.

7. Aggregated and De-Identified Information

IPM may create aggregated or de-identified information from marketplace activity.

For example, we may analyze information about:

  • types of materials being offered or requested;
  • geographic marketplace activity;
  • listing volumes;
  • availability patterns;
  • pricing information where available;
  • recurring versus one-time material flows; and
  • marketplace usage and performance.

We may use and retain aggregated or de-identified information for business analytics, service improvement, research, market observations, product development, and other legitimate business purposes.

Where information is represented as de-identified, we will not intentionally present it as identifying a specific individual.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating IPM, maintaining marketplace records, administering accounts and billing, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, maintaining security, meeting legal or accounting obligations, and improving the service.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.

Canceling a paid subscription does not automatically delete your account or marketplace records.

Listings that are paused, expired, sold, closed, or otherwise removed from the active marketplace may be retained as historical platform records.

Where appropriate, we may retain aggregated or de-identified information after identifiable account information is deleted.

We may also retain information in backups for a reasonable period before it is overwritten or removed through normal backup processes.

9. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests

You may request account deletion or make a privacy-related request through available account functionality or by contacting:

support@industrialproductsmarketplace.com

When responding to a request, we may need to verify your identity.

  • fraud prevention;
  • security;
  • dispute resolution;
  • enforcement of agreements;
  • legal compliance;
  • exercising or defending legal claims; and
  • maintaining aggregated or de-identified business information.

Removing information from IPM does not necessarily remove copies previously indexed, cached, copied, or stored by independent third parties.

Depending on where you live and applicable privacy law, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or certain uses of personal information. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • keep users signed in;
  • maintain sessions;
  • remember preferences;
  • secure accounts;
  • prevent abuse;
  • understand application performance; and
  • operate and improve the service.

Browser settings may allow you to restrict some cookies or stored information. Disabling technologies necessary for authentication or application functionality may prevent portions of IPM from working correctly.

11. Communications

We may send service-related communications concerning your account, listings, inquiries, billing, security, changes to IPM, or other operational matters.

Where IPM offers optional marketing communications, you may use the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications or contact us to adjust your preferences.

Certain transactional, security, billing, or account-related communications may still be sent when necessary to provide the service or administer your account.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No internet service, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

13. Children's Privacy

IPM is a business-oriented industrial marketplace and is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to IPM, contact us at support@industrialproductsmarketplace.com.
